This book had me hooked with the first pages! The lost transcript really hooked you in and told you immediately what This book, and Bitter Island ere going to be about. I loved the introduction of the interview with Sophia, and the getting a little bit of her backstory as she began the story in the first person in earnest. I also love the understated, but completely appropriate cover, further driving home the themes of the book. This book is a must read!
