This First Impression left me wanting more, but not in a good way. I found the story slightly confusing, as characters seem to be introduced quickly, without much explanation. I did like the format of found materials, such as transcriptions of interviews or Facebook videos. I am curious about the story, and Sophie's mother, but not enough to read more.
The jacket cover, however, does a really good job at creating a suspenseful ambience. Very fitting for a suspenseful mystery!
