I liked this first look. I didn't love it, but I enjoyed it. I found the writing to be a little bit choppy, and in some parts that seemed intentional, but that made it a little bit difficult to navigate early on. However, it started to pick up relatively quickly and all in all I thought it was a good start. I don't always love thrillers that lean more on horror elements, but I would be interested to see where this went.
