This book seemed really nice and interesting from the excerpt, but since I'm a sucker for YA books that cover lgbt themes and characters, I probably shouldn't be that surprised.
The writing style is relatively simple and light, which is something that lately I've started to appreciate a lot more because not only does it make this book an easy and funny read, but it's also more likely to hook me right on the spot (and so far it definitely did!)

Moreover, I had already laid my eyes on it a while ago, firstly simply because I liked the cover, with all of its drawing-like features and all the cute little flowers, but the content themselves did not disappoint at all in the end, and I'm glad I discovered it because Ophelia After All is now going directly into my 2022-to-be-read pile of books, and I'm more than ready to devour it in the span of an afternoon!
