As part of the latino/hispanic community i love everything this book represents. Highschool is all about finding yourself and many times it can be much harder for people of color because of the expectations set on our shoulders long before we could talk. I know this book will inspire many young girls who are finding their true selves and i wish i could've had a book like this when i was younger where the main character looks like me.
