I wasn't intrigued by the plot, despite enjoying YA. It didn't (or I guess I should say doesn't) sound like something I would be entertained by, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excerpt. It was cute and humorous and I enjoyed the writing style. I can't say for sure that I would enjoy the overall story, but as I said, pleasantly surprised at the very least!
