Ophelia After All is the newest queer YA romance story, set amongst a diverse crowd of friends, including Ophelia Rojas. As Ophelia navigates the end of her senior year, including prom and graduation on the horizon, it appears she might not end high school single when she begins crushing on Talia, a girl from her government class.

The writing style in this First Impression was clearly geared toward a younger audience, but I appreciated the attempts to capture the anxiety of teenagers nearing the end of high school and the bittersweet beginning of adulthood. The complexities of a burgeoning queer relationship are reflected perfectly. The jacket cover is similarly enticing, as reflects Ophelia's love of roses. Overall, this is sure to be a cute read!
