I was pleasantly surprised by this book, to be honest. While it does sound like something I would be interested in, I usually don't lean towards the adult-geared books. I love young adult books and teen protagonists a lot more. But this book was so good!! I found myself wrapped up in the story and unwilling to put it down for even a second. It seemed really realistic, and it had a nice balance of both the medical aspects, the romance aspects, and the personal aspects. That trifecta that it created made it a book that virtually anyone can like. As a matter of fact, I've already recommended it to three of my other friends. They all have very different tastes in books, but that's what's great about this book; it can hold anyone's interest. I am very grateful to the publisher for granting me an advanced copy, and I applaud the author for a job well done!
