I really liked this coming of age story, it was surprisingly good. The medical procedures in the story were incredibly well written and so intriguing even for a reader like me who doesn't know much about doctors/medical terms. If you like T.V. shows like The Good Doctor, The Resident, Greys Anatomy, etc. then you will definitely enjoy reading this book.
Gene, our main character is an awesome character and you can't help but to love him even when he makes the few mistakes he makes. The story is a bit funny at times, I laughed a few times. I loved Jesse's character and his interactions with Gene were always good and funny. The best part of this book is definitely all the characters, they all felt like such a great family.
I was very entertained and engrossed in the story and finished it in only two days. I would definitely recommend to all my friends.
