With a start like that, I can only imagine the pace the rest of this book will set. A tragedy witnessed at a much too young age during the start of a vacation is how we’re are introduced to Gene and his family. I think from what I’ve read so far, this book is very well written and it definitely gripped my heart within those first few pages. I have high hope for the rest.
