As a former English teacher, I can always appreciate a good "coming of age" story, as this one certainly is. While I am not familiar with his author, I am already in love with his writing style from the very first page. The description, the family dialogue, everything is so perfect. I love the chapters and the alternations between settings. It's my favorite format in a novel. Can't wait to read this one!
