This Gene character seems to have some pretty bad luck in his life. This short summary leads me to believe that there is a great mystery to be solved. Gene’s story sounds like something that most people can relate to, afraid of failing and not meeting parental expectations. I’m sure this theme is going to make some people become more in tune to their own feelings.
