At first I saw this book was labeled "historical fiction" and I wasn't too excited, but then I saw it takes place in the 1970s and laughed to myself, "Oh, well that's different!" Nothing in the synopsis jumped right out at me and made me eager to read this but I still think it sounds like a good story.
