I'm not a huge fan of romance, but I will read them if the plot seems especially good. Books where a character falls instantly in love are a bit of a turn off. How does that end up lasting?
I'm sure there are many people who will enjoy this--I'm not saying the writing is terrible, it just isn't a book for me.
