I can relate to Gene. We both are people that are struggling in day to day life with our relationships. I wonder what Gene will go through to strengthen her relationships not only with the other person but with the father as well. Their relationship seems off from what I've read. Overall the book seems like a good love story. The cover is intriguing with those bright colors and an emphasis on the red heart.
