The first look for this book grabbed a hold of me and refused to let go. The imagery is beautifully written, emotion is high, and I’m drawn in by the story. Coming of age stories are some of my favorites, and I see a lot of myself and my story in Gene and his story. I’ll be picking this one up for sure.
