I have a very strong feeling that there will be many tears shed when I get the opportunity to finish reading Open Heart. That is not a criticism but rather an acknowledgement of the power of this story and a testament to the author's writing. He has made me care about these people he created and that is no small thing. I'd like to see what happens to Gene and Patty, what changed their relationship? What exactly happened to Carl? I have a lot of questions, my curiosity has been piqued.
The cover is pretty good, it's an attention grabber and once you get someone's attention and, even more so, they have read the description, you've got them.
