This book sounds like it would be quite the emotional journey. While I love a coming-of-age story, I'm not sure this one will be one that I'm interested in. If someone is interested in sad, sweeping love stories it might be for them. The cover art is very eye-catching--it would make me pick up the book and read the synopsis if I stumbled upon it in a bookstore.
