Open Heart by Gregory Williams is a different sort of novel with family drama that can be leave the reader quite emotional. It starts out with a first love, plans that don't go the way you had hoped to complicate life as future plans or please the hero's father, who he can't seem to live up to as a great doctor. It is full of heartaches as well as surprises in what you might expect.
