WOW! I thought that I would love this book but I didn't expect that I would be unable to put it down!! I loved the writing style and immediately bonded with the characters. I thought that the story might turn a bit expected, with 2 best friends being killed in the same town, but the twists and turns kept me up until past 3 am finishing the book. The story line really built itself up in sort of a slow burn manner, but not too slow that I became uninterested. I work at a school, and I would recommend this to all of my young readers who are looking for a mystery to keep them on the edge of me seat, and I actually think that it would bring some of my more reluctant readers back to books. Although I do think this is targeted for a YA audience, I recommended to my friends as well, as I thought the storyline was unique, refreshing, and overall a quick read. I can't wait to see what this author comes out with next!
