I enjoyed this sample. It’s well written and the storyline is interesting.
At first, I assumed Tru was the younger sister of one of the two girls who were murdered in her hometown. Then I realized it had been twenty years since that happened, before Tru was even alive, and that Tru is actually the younger sister of another girl who disappeared. But in her town everyone focuses on the other two girls, so much that they are local celebrities.
Tru feels a connection to the girls despite never having met either.
I’m intrigued. I hope this isn’t too scary because I would like to know what happened but don’t usually read the murdery books.
