The story is something I could get into, but I feel like the main character is going to get annoying. She is disturbingly obsessed with two strangers' murderers -- to the point of stealing one of their belongings she found at the crime scene and having repeated dreams of being one of them -- while also taking a lot of opportunities to talk about how much she dislikes the true crime fans obsess over their murderers. Girl, pick one. Be the average small town girl hating on the invasive, insensitive tourists or the obsessed true crime weirdo, if the book plays both straight, I'll probably get annoyed.
