This isn't the type of book I normally go for, but the summary drew me in. It could be an interesting read. The pace, however, is real slow, like turtle slogging through peanut butter slow. I feel like it has to pick up though, because mystery/thrillers are usually pretty fast paced. The heroine has an interesting voice for narration, but she thinks a lot, hence the slowness. Perhaps some of it will become relevant and important later in the book.
