Trulee, the narrator, has an interesting voice. She tells the story of two girls murdered 20 years ago as well as the death of her sister, Dani, without being overwrought. Her voice drew me into a story I wasn't sure I'd care to read. Teens and adult fans of murder mysteries will like this one.
