We first meet Trulee as she awakens from a dream about the tragic demise of Bailey and Celeste. Two best friends who had their lives tragically cut short while on a camping trip in Mount Orange Florida turning the town into a morbid tourist attraction. Tourists flock there every year to see the site of these grisly unsolved murders. Tru has always felt strangely connected to these two girls though she never met them partly because of her own sister Dani who had a tragic accident. All set to spend the last summer before having to admit she isn’t going to FSU college with her boyfriend free diving and working at the newspaper. Will she instead solve this mystery with the help of the new girl in town Rio? Will she and Rio be able to survive once the perpetrator knows they are trying to solve the case? The cover art was eye catching and I really want to know how the story ends.
