I really liked the artwork on this book cover as it really makes me gravitate towards the books. It makes me curious as to what the book is about and who the character is on the cover.
After reading the excerpt, I was surprised (in a good way) with how quickly you jump right into the story. It doesn't seem like you're trying to fill in the blanks creatively, but that you're along for the ride.
