One Last Breath weaves together the story of a young girl growing up in a small town in Florida...a small town where two girls were murdered twenty years ago, but their killer has never been caught. You sense from the beginning that Tru is not your average recent high school grad...and that she has a spooky connection to the murders of two girls that occurred twenty years ago in her small hometown. I love the misfit vibe that is presented in the beginning of this First Look, along with the supernatural edge. I'm already wondering what part the people in Tru's life may have to play in these murders as well as the possible connection between them and the death of Tru's older sister.
The cover draws you in and the first few chapters have me hungry for more. Everyone knows everything that happens in a small town...so how is it possible that these murders have gone unsolved? My mind is already spinning with possibilities and I would love to pick right back up and go in for the dive of One Last Breath!
