After reading the First Look for the latest young adult novel by Ginny Myers Sain, I am bumping One Last Breath to the top of my anticipated 2024 releases! The description has elements that I love: a long-unsolved cold case, a small town with secrets, and of course a touch of the supernatural! Not to mention a bit of romance ... The writing style feels true to YA with a brisk pace and characters that I want to know more about. I love the free diving angle, too! I can't wait to read more of this spooky, swampy thriller!
