A fun concept
One Last Breath follows Tru as she thinks back on the murder of two girls that occurred in her small town 20 years ago. So far I found this book more enjoyable than Sain’s better known novel, which I found to drag on without really having a strong plot to drive the story forward. This novel does a good job of introducing parts of the story without giving away too much at once, making you want to keep reading to learn more. I also like how it showed the weirdness of true crime fans, since some of them do take it a bit too far. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the book to see how the story pans out!
