This book seems amazing from the first look I got! It felt like reading a fairy tale, albeit a rather dark one. The author does a great job of creating the setting of the story between the tavern and the family that inhabits it and tells stories for a living. The descriptions are interesting and give you the perfect amount of context for how the story will be told. It's easy to follow but not boring. I could tell from the beginning that there is going to be a lot of drama in this book between friends, family, and members of the community over the changes that this little girl will bring.
I am very interested to read the rest of this book. I hope it is dramatic, twisty, and continues to give me fairy tale vibes.
