Swan on cover is intriguing
As someone into birds, I know that there is a mute swan. I can't help but think it isn't a coincidence that the cover of this book shows a swan and that the child the story is about is mute.
I'm quite curious to see how they figure out which family, if any, the child rightfully belongs to. Reminds me a bit of Solomon having to decide which mother has the rightful claim to child, and it is the mother who was willing to give the child up.
