First and foremost the cover has caught my eye on more than one occasion. I always judge a book by its cover. At least my first impression is hinged on a good cover. It's like the icebreaker in an an overcrowded room. The story hints at folklore and fairytale retellings. Both are my latest binge reading fodder. The writing is richly evocative and would keep me reading without the distraction of a poorly executed sentence. In short, I want to read this book.
