I'll admit, the book blurb didn't initially sell me on this one. But after reading a few other first impressions, I took a chance. I'm happy that I did because with only a few pages I was immediately transported into a strange magical almost fairy-tale - like setting. Diane Setterfield's writing is fluid and mesmerizing. From the first sentences until the end of the sneak peek, I was drawn in. I cannot wait to see what happens next and what magic this book contains.
