I felt like I had been transported to another time while reading the First Look. The writing is amazing to say the least. I was swept away by the story. It felt magical. The synopsis of the book drew me in right away. I'm a fan of historical fiction, fantasy, magic, and literary fiction -- everything this book has! I'm excited to read more.
