From the author of The Thirteenth Tale, Once Upon a River's lyrical beginning reads like a fairy tale, and I do love a good fairy tale! The Swan Inn sounds absolutely delightful and I wish I could pull up a stool and listen to the stories told there. Speaking of stories, will we find out more about Margot and Joe and their many daughters and one son, Jonathan? Who is the newcomer and what happened to the dead little girl? After reading this riveting excerpt, I am beyond ready to get lost in the magic. Can't wait to get my hands, eyes, and brains on this one!
