Oh wow was this amazing! I'm going to start with the beautiful cover- it draws you in and is perfect for the story. And the story! I need to finish this beautiful story! Stopping was almost painful! I loved everything about this from the storytelling, the writing style, the atmosphere, the setting, everything! It was all so amazing! I love the folklore aspect and feel to it. It almost reminds me of my favorite books- the Winternight trilogy by Katherine Arden. It has that Historical Fantasy feel and I can't get enough of books like this. The mystery only adds to it and makes it more amazing. And it was so atmospheric! Just in the 14 page excerpt/first look i was transported to The Swan at Radcot. And I'm desperate to return!
