Diane Setterfield never fails to pull me in right from the very start of any of her novels. I love the way that her words feel magical and warm from the very start and only continue to grow more magical. I like how she sets a very thorough stage with plenty of background information to get the story going, and especially how it never once feels as if it is dragging. I am already intrigued and can't wait to finish the book!
