I had such high hopes for this book. I thought it would be a fun new romance book that was familiar but still a new story, but it was like every other bad romance I've read. It was a worse version of Beautiful Bastard, but without Christina Lauren's awesomeness. The guy was like every bad romance guy, stupid, controlling, and hateful, and not in a good way. The characters were flat and had zero development. I was so tired of both of them by the end of the book, I couldn't wait for it to end. The girl and all of her issues were just annoying, and their relationship was too. I'm just glad I'm done reading it. I think it could have been good, but the characters just weren't interesting enough and neither was the backstories.
