I liked how this story did 2 things I was not expecting. It is a Harlequin romance so sex is expected, especially in the Dare series. However, this story has the viewpoint of both the man and the woman, which is always fun to read. Plus, the woman is extremely smart and strong. She has a great career and understands who she is. This could be one of those fantasy novels in which I actually agree with the female character and am impressed with how she conducts herself in partnership with a strong male role.
