I was enjoying this first look up until the sudden point-of-view change, which threw me off because there's no indication of it. At least of the characters sounds like someone I can definitely like, though, and that's the heroine; the male character in this doesn't seem all that original to me. I know that originality is hard to come by these days, but his attitude feels like something I've read countless times before. Read one, you've read them all.
