I don't generally read books from within this genre. So, for those of you that do and disagree with my "first impression", forgive me.

The view into this book was short, just a few pages, but it sets what the scene is bound to be--boss chases employee without knowing that she doesn't really need the job because she has family wealth. He already is attracted to her but this will attract him even more because they will be on the same "level". But she will fall for him because of his body and his darkened past.

In those first few pages, though, there was little character development and, what little there was, didn't make me care about the characters at all.
