I honestly don't even know where to begin! My mind was absolutely blown away throughout the entirety of this book...You *think* you know all about King Richard, Robin of Locksley aka Robin Hood, his "merry" men, Lady Marion, the High Sheriff of Nottingham, and Captain Guy Gisbourne - but you don't, not at all.
Nathan Makaryk retells the legend of Robin Hood in a way that you've never dreamed of, heard of, read of, or watched. He puts you in the mind and in the shoes of every character, and makes it almost impossible for you to choose a side because they're all right in their own way.
The World and character building was absolutely amazing - you felt every single decision by every character and how it affected Nottingham and the lives of the people around them. You experienced everyone and everything falling apart at the seams only to come back together in a completely unexpected way. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see this book hit tv and/or movie theatres in the near future!
