So listen, this book is a bit of an undertaking. But, if you just go into it knowing that, I think you will be in for a wonderful ride and you won't regret it. This book is large but once you get started, it seems to fly by. This book is so well written that you're just immediately immersed into the story and the characters are extremely fleshed out. There is so much going on but you really get to know the characters one-on-one and see their motivations, it's a nice change from a lot of other books I've read. It seems to simultaneously be written in a cinematic way but you also get the wonderful character depth as well. It's gritty and insightful, interesting and humorous. If you like the Robin Hood story at all, you should really give this book a chance.
