So I was very excited to get this book about Robin Hood by Nathan Makaryk. I do have to admit I haven't finished it yet, it's a very long book, 496 pages! But reading about him, and Maid Marian along with the new character Ekana Gamwell is amazing so far.
I love all retellings of Robin Hood, and this one starts off in the traditional way, in 1191 England. There's the Crusades, King Richard and Nottingham (of course since it's the title of the book).
If you love historical fiction, Game of Thrones type books with the in depth descriptions and world building. If you just love Robin Hood then this is the book for you. Just make sure you take your time, and quite a time it will be!
And then go watch Men in Tights.
