This is the first Christian/sci-fi book I have ever read. I am not a big Christian book reader, or sci-fi for that matter, but the concept intrigued me. David Galloway has lived almost 200 years as a 35 year old man. And for almost 200 years he has wondered why God has made him immortal or if/when it will end. Now he finds that there are others like him. While he finds some comfort in knowing he isn't alone, the group brings with it their own problems and David must make a moral decision. Overall I really enjoyed the book. I felt that a few of the more religious scenes had been put in after the fact in order to make the book more appealing to a certain crowd without actually adding to the story itself. But as long as you aren't completely adverse to the inclusion of God and religion in your reading, this is an enjoyable read.
