It is a very slow beginning. I think it will get better as it goes. I really want to know more about the background. I hope that it explains more further along in the book. I appreciate that the first 25 Pages has no swear words and hopefully neither does the rest of the book. The relationship between the shop owner and the helper seems to be good. Everything appears to surround that relationship. It's just hard to say how the book will go with just the first few pages. I am excited to be able to answer all of my questions by reading to the end of the book. It is an interesting concept that this man has lived for at least a century. I want to know the background of that. I also want to know what the first two weeks in October have to do with the story.
