I was surprised by this book. The cover did not catch my attention but the plot sounded interesting. I enjoyed the main character. His introspection was very realistic and made sense for his situation. The story itself felt different but also familiar. For me that is the best situation for a story because I like when I can connect and understand a story rather than feeling like everything is foreign. I have mixed feelings about the cover. I like the colors. It is mysterious and has a bit of a fall feeling which fits the atmosphere of the story. There is a bit of a unprofessional look to the cover but the atmosphere of the colors and image make up for it. I will not be finishing this book because it is not my style but for those who enjoy this type of book it is worth the read!
