I enjoy Christian fiction and was curious to try this book. I wasn't too familiar with the speculative form though so it was a learning experience if you will.

The book is well written with an interesting concept. How does one not die and why? David lives with the secret of his life and then discovers others like him.
This is where the story twists and turns and the suspense comes in.

David is trying to figure out what God wants from him and his purpose. It is a strange journey to be sure. But he's a likable character (runs a bookstore!) and you want him to find his peace or at last the best peace he can find.

Overall a decent read for me but possibly a better read for those who enjoy the genre more.
