The book lover in me was captured by the first two sentences...thoughts of a used book fire is horrible. It didn't help that my career was a fire dispatcher, double whammy. Then you add in an intriguing hero who appears to be immortal and all that entails as well as a snarky, quirky side kick. Then the icing on the story "cake" are jabs at social media and celebrity. I want this book!
