The premise seems intriguing, but I wasn't really blown away by this excerpt. (I'm not sure I'd want to shop at a bookstore whose owner seems to look down on people for owning a Kindle or reading books that aren't Classics or whatever. A reader's a reader, dude; don't be so judgy). The writing style was fine, but there were some places where it felt a little clunky. I like the mood of the cover, though.
